My father loved cameras. He bought Nikon and Canon for our family. So, Camera was a kind of a toy for me.
I have been playing with a camera and taking many fun pictures of landscapes, flowers, people, my family, and friends for a long time. 2016, I decided to take photography classes and be a professional photographer. My decision was substantial!
In 2017, my first teacher, Dave Bever, took me to Imaging USA which is presented by PPA (Professional Photographers of America). It is one of the biggest photography conferences in the USA. When I got there, it was amazing!! I have never seen it like that. My eyes were very wide-open and my jaw dropped! I enjoyed every moment at imaging USA. Since my first visit, I have been studying photography very seriously and spend a lot of time for photography. I submitted my images to photographic competitions many times.
When I entered the competitions, my images passed a certain point and earned “Merits” In the first year, I got 3 Merits! Then I got another 2 Merits next year. My Merits accumulated to reach 13 points!! Which means I earned a “Master’s Degree of Photography” I could not imagine I could reach this point when I started photography.
In 2023 at Imaging USA held in Nashville, TN, we had a ceremony for the degrees. I received the medal of Master of Photography.
I will keep practicing photography as my life work and create beautiful images for my clients in Charlotte, NC area.
